Dr. Carson is a clinical and forensic psychologist based in Seattle, Washington. Her forensic work includes evaluation and testimony in state and federal courts. She is nationally recognized as an expert in trauma and the science of adolescent brain development and its application to adolescent and late adolescent cases.

Dr. Carson is Board Certified in both Forensic Psychology and Couple and Family Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. She is past-president of the Washington State Psychological Association, is on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Couple and Family Psychology, and is a past President of the American Academy of Couple and Family Psychology. Dr. Carson has over 20 years of experience as a treating clinical psychologist and forensic psychologist.
