Dr. Carson is a clinical and forensic psychologist licensed in Washington State. In her forensic work, Dr. Carson conducts evaluations and provides expert testimony for courts in many Washington counties and outside of Washington State. Her primary forensic area of practice and expertise is conducting Parenting/Custody Evaluations. She also conducts Personal Injury Evaluations, criminal evaluations, and other forensic mental health evaluations. She also provides consultation to families who are making difficult decisions during divorce/separations, and to attorneys working in family law. Dr. Carson is the President of the American Academy of Couple and Family Psychology and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Child Custody.
In clinical work, Dr. Carson works with people to help them overcome emotional struggles and psychological challenges. Applying her knowledge and experience of therapy approaches and techniques, Dr. Carson helps people with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, or other issues so that they may experience a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Additionally, Dr. Carson conducts comprehensive psychological assessments.
